PUBLIC LETTER TO THE EKITI STATE GOVERNMENT

Office of the Commisioner,
Ekiti  state Ministry of Education,
Ado Ekiti, Nigeria

I am Victor Abiodun and I am writing this public letter to notify the Ekiti Education ministry of a Private Secondary School in Ekiti state, that is a total embarrassment to the education system of Nigeria.

The name of the school is DAVIS ACADEMY, IFAKI- EKITI.The School which has been running for quiet some time now and have students in the Junior classes and also has both Art, Social sciences and Science students in senior secondary school classes has been using rented shops for classrooms in a totally unhygienic setting, the school has no library of any sort, the school also has no Laboratory of any kind and do not teach the science students any practical.

The proprietor of the school, Mr. Kelechi David bought 3 spoilt old model desktop computers from scrap shops and used it to form a fake Computer laboratory, which he always use to fool student's parents. No computer practical has ever been done in the school.

The school also employed an unlicensed and inexperienced young driver to drive the school bus, because, the salary is cheap, thereby, risking the life of innocent students. Many of the staffs are also unqualified to teach in secondary schools and the JSS NECO and WAEC written in the school is filled with examination malpractice from the school teachers, 60% of the staffs is made up of his family members, ranging from brothers to sisters and wife, all of which are academically unqualified to teach in a Secondary school.

Davis Academy Ifaki-Ekiti, Ekiti state, Nigeria is a school created with the sole purpose of ripping off unsuspecting parents of their hard earned income, while delivering next to no education to their wards.

Please as a concerned citizen of Nigeria, I took my time and energy to write this letter, Please serious investigation should be done and serious action should be taken.

Yours Sincerely,
Abiodun Victor

MAVIN'S D'PRINCE IS A REGULAR USER OF RED POWDER

Successful Mavin records act and Goody bag crooner D'prince according to reports  is a regular user of the popular Mary Kay powder which is specifically made for Women. Offcourse the Mavin big boy is in no way a faggot or even a potential gay but his persistent use of  women face powder is questionable. It's a common thing that male musicians who are about to shoot their music video usually use women face powder in order to look more  fresh and attractive and  it seems to work pretty well as some of us have come across this celebrities and they are miles behind what we see in the videos.
Well, no one can fault D'prince on the act as he his only trying to be Fresh at all times, just like he said in his hit track "Goody Bag" ....Freshness is his own selling point!

Twitter Happiness Levels Soar As People Travel Further From Home

Happiness levels caputred by Tweets rise logarithmically with distance from our average location, say computer scientists studying Twitter sentiment.

The way sociologists and anthropologists study modern society has changed dramatically in recent years.
One of the major advances has been the ability to study human behaviour by mining the massive databases
from technologies such as mobile phones and social media, such as Twitter. These technologies provide a
firehose of near real-time data about people’s ideas, location and even their feelings.
That’s enabled entirely new insight into the way society behaves. Today, Morgan Frank and pals at the
University of Vermont take this work a step further by analysing how the sentiments people express over
Twitter change as they move further afield.
Their surprising conclusion? “Expressed happiness increases logarithmically with distance from an individual’s
average location,” they say. In other words, the further away we are, the happier we become, as measured by
the sentiments of our Tweets.
Frank and pals analysed 37 million Tweets from 180,000 individuals in 2011 that also gave their location.
They then characterised the movement associated with each individual.
They found that most people Tweet largely from two locations which Morgan and co call work and home. That’s a result that others have also found.
However, they also measured the average distance that each Twitter user travelled according to their geolocation data. They found that people in cities tend to travel over a larger area
than people who live in less densely populated areas.
Finally, they measured the sentiment of each Tweet, using an established scale of happiness associated with common words. Their most interesting result comes from determining how
this sentiment changes with distance from a user’s average location.
The results are fascinating. Morgan and co say that Tweets authored thousands of kilometres from from an individual’s expected location are more likely to contain the words “beach”,
“great”, “restaurant” and so on and less likely to contain negative words such as “no”, “don’t”, “hate” and the suchlike.
However, when people are closer to their average location, they are more likely to laugh using words like “hahaha”.
In fact, Morgan and co say the biggest difference in expressed happiness levels is the result of the reduced use of these negative words when further from home.
Of course, an important caveat is that expressed happiness is not the same as actual happiness. But nevertheless, this kind of analysis clearly gives sociologists an unprecedented new
window into the human psyche.
